Sophie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sophie's Story...
Sophie is a 9 month-old Shepherd mix who currently weighs about 38 pounds and will probably not be over 48 pounds when full grown. She's a beautiful, sweet girl who we rescued from death row at the city shelter where she had come in as a stray.

She is a bit nervous and shy at first, however she loves other dogs and would most likely be just fine with cats. She is a gentle girl and once she knows you, she's yours forever!

Sophie is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and has been tested for heartworm (negative). Adoption fee is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Brooklyn Anatolian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Anatolian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Anatolian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Anatolian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Anatolian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
