Lady's Story...
Lady is an adorable, sweet, scruffy, gentle and loving eight-year-old, Wheaten Terrier-mix looking for the perfect home. Lady was found after she was apparently dumped out on a country road left to fend for herself. She is a delightful middle-aged dog who gets along just fine with other dogs, is house-trained, and sits, and begs for a treat. She walks beautifully on leash and rides well in the car. She is healthy, spayed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, and micro-chipped. To meet and possibly adopt Lady, please contact me directly as she’s joined my household until she finds a permanent loving home of her own. Her adoption fee of $250 helps support rescued pets. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady, a Chicago Wheaten Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
