Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucky is currently fostered in Mentor Ohio, and his adoption fee/donation is $250
Lucky is a 2 yr old male cocker spaniel. He is a georgeous little tri-colored boy!!!
Lucky has Behavioral Issues and is NOT the Average dog.
He is a loving, Cuddly, Happy go lucky dog “most” of the time!
He has resource guarding issues, and will bite if handled incorrectly.
He needs a strong leader, and does best when with another dog with an “Alpha” personality to keep him in check.
Lucky will guard items and needs to be re-directed properly when this behavior occurs.
We have witnessed him having what are called “Stare Seizures.”
He gets zoned out, awake but staring and unresponsive to calling his name or any stimuli.
Our vet has started him on anti seizure meds, and, so far he has not had these episodes anymore that we have seen.
Other than this issue, he is a happy dog, and gets along well in his foster home.
Right now, his foster is working woth him, and he is responding to her, however training and behavior modification training will need to be continued when in his adoptive home.
Lucky is housetrained, crate trained, likes playing with toys and other dogs.
Because of this issue he will be an ADULT ONLY PLACEMENT. No children for this boy.
He can be a good dog with the right humans willing to properly train him.
Lucky is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and is heartworm negative.
