Jo Jo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Jo Jo's Story...
Jo Jo is a wonderful guy. He loves attention. Jo Jo is an active boy and loves to go for walks. He knows how to sit, come, and lay down (doesn't always do this one). He walks well on a leash. Jo Jo is crate trained. He is also house trained. Jo Jo is living in a foster home with other dogs and cats. He has been great with the other dogs. He is ok with the cats, but does spend most of his time following them around the house or chasing them if they run. We feel he would do better in a home without cats. Jo Jo is about 1 1/2 years old.

Jo Jo is neutered, up to date on vaccinations (including rabies), tested negative for heartworm, is up to date on heartguard, and has been treated for internal/external parasites. Jo Jo's adoption fee is $210. Sorry no checks. Jo Jo is living in a foster home so please call or e-mail if interested in meeting him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jo Jo, a Faribault German Shepherd Dog/Basenji dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Basenji for sale in Faribault, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Basenji dog from a breeder in Faribault.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Faribault already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Faribault breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Basenji breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Basenji rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Faribault paves the way for another one to be saved.
