All pets are spayed or neutered,Current on Vaccinations,dewormed, Given a Monthly flea and tick control Treatment and Heartworm Tested (Treated if needed) then given a monthly preventative.


STEPS FOR ADOPTION


Complete an adoption application & return it via e-mail to: birddogrescue@bellsouth.net,

(Applications are located on our home page about 3/4 down page)!!
(VETERINARY REFERENCE AND/OR A HOME VISIT IS REQUIRED!)

Adoption fee's are required to help this & other pets recieve the medical,grooming,etc care they need.


Adoption fee's must be paid in CASH prior to the adoption being completed..




Applications are approved or denied in the order they are recieved,therefore if you see the pet you applied for listed as adopted,this doesn't mean that your application was denied it may however mean that it was simply not the first application recieved.We will in most cases notify an approved potential adoptee within 72 hours.



Please understand that our group is run by volunteers,which means they have families,jobs,etc
that must come first,therefore it may not be possible to answer every e-mail.




We are not a shelter,all of our animals are in foster homes,therefore adopters must complete an application and recieve an approval notice before an appointment will be scheduled to meet the pet,Once the animal and the adopter meet then the adopter and one of our adoption coordinators will decide if the animal will be placed in the adopters home.Approvals will be sent via e-mail and you will be requested to either e-mail or call us to confirm receipt of the approval with in 48 hours.if you are approved it does not mean you must adopt the pet..
