My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Carlos was left at a shelter by his owner and was terrified to be in such a scary place. He is much happier now that he is in his foster home where he is soaking up the love while waiting for his forever home. Carlos is his real name. He is about 5 years old and weighs 9 pounds. Like most chis, he is timid at first--for about 30 seconds! Then he wants to sit in your lap and kiss your face. Carlos is especially partial to foster dad and loves to have foster dad hold him. He is great with his foster mom too. Carlos wouldn't be good with kids but he gets along with the other small dogs in his foster home. He seems to have no interest in cats. His energy level is low to moderate, and Carlos is house trained, crate trained and leash trained. Foster parents say that Carlos is an easy keeper. Carlos is with a 501c3 non profit rescue. His $250 adoption fee covers his neuter, heartworm test and pill, shots, worming, flea/tick prevention and HomeAgain microchip.
