Duncan's Story...
My name is Duncan, I have had a tough few months. I have been beaten up and have sooo many stitches in my little body that I can't even count them all. I have blocked the memory out of my mind, but foster mom seems to think I was either beaten up by my previous owner or maybe run over by a car. What makes my heart even more sore is that after the horrible accident, I was dumped at the shelter where they stitched me up and then decided they didn't have enough space for me so were going to put me to sleep. Foster mom is my angel in shining armour. She saved me from the gas chamber and took me to her vet. They have checked out my cuts, and have said I am on the mend and will be as right as rain in a week or two. I am a great fella, not food aggressive, have given all the other dogs kisses through my crate wire, l Iove to be outside, and am not the least bit hyper. Please give me a forever home where I will get all the love I deserve. I promise always to be good, so you won't have to beat me up. Please contact my foster mom Deborah at deborahfulton@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duncan, a Thomasville Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Thomasville, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Thomasville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Thomasville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Thomasville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Thomasville paves the way for another one to be saved.
