J.J.'s Story...
J. J. is an adorable, wiggle-butted little dog who is about 3 ½ years old with a very happy personality. She weights about 17.5 pounds and is about 14 inches high. J.J. is a love bug and is happy to snuggle with you on your lap or just lay by your side. She knows her name and is eager to please.

Her previous owners said she was excellent with kids and good with other dogs and cats. They also said she was only partially housebroken but J.J. has been in foster care for only one day and not only does she know how to use the dog door, she learned it on her own. What a smart girl!

J.J. loves to go for car rides and would make a excellent traveling companion. She will curl up on a blanket and all you need to do is wake her up when you get there. We don't know her breed background but looks like a Basenji and Terrier mix. She was given up as her owners were moving.

If you are in need of a loving, happy and loyal companion J. J. is your girl. If you are interested in J.J., please contact Pat at 913-782-5539 or e-mail at pjshelor@hotmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

J.J., a Overland Park Basenji/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basenji/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Basenji/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basenji/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Basenji/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
