I am housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Lily's Story... Hi my name is Lily. I'm approximately 4 years old & a beautiful tweenie sized chocolate & tan smooth girl. My nails & nose are black, so I'm not a true chocolate. I also have brindle markings in my tan points. This isn't surprising as I came from a home with 30 other dogs. It's evident that I have had babies in the past, but I've given up that life now to become a cherished pet. I have never had a collar or harness on, nor a leash so it's a learning experience for me, however I am doing well learning so far. I am fine with other dogs & hope to have a doggie companion in my new home. I haven't responded to the cat in my foster home, so I would be ok living with cats. I'm a bit shy, but warmed right up to my foster mom. I this point I think I'd do best in a home with older children, or no children. So far I seem to be housetrained if you take me outside every 2-3 hours. I'll even go potty while on a leash, which is pretty impressive since I have never been on a leash until recently. I seem to be crate trained & will not go potty in my crate. Foster mom left me for 8 hours & she came home to a quiet house, so I'm ok left alone as long as I have a companion to be with while you are gone. I sleep well in my crate, but would really like to curl up in the big bed with you.
Lily's adoption fee will be $225. If you are interested in adopting Lily, please click here to fill out our Adoption Application. For more information about Lily, please email me.

Rescues and shelter volunteers in All of New England already know the personality and tendencies
of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it
much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a All of New England breeder,
or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for
a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home.
In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who
help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten
adopted in All of New England paves the way for another one to be saved.
