My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ha Ha! Got you! You thought I was a baby German Shepherd didn't you? I am actually likely to be a Formosan Mountain dog mix rescued from the recent floods in Taiwan.

My name is Thea which, in Greek, means goddess. That is so appropriate because your heart is where I rule! I am about 16 lbs and will probably reach about 30 lbs when fully grown.

I am working on the potty training and my Foster Mom tells me that I am learning really fast because I'm such a smart girl. I am also working on sit and down.

I like toys and LOVE to snuggle with you at naptime. I am a little more shy than my brother Solomon (also available for adoption...hint, hint) and we compliment each other perfectly. I tend to sit back and watch in new situations, staying by your legs for safety, but quickly come out of my shell.

I am very friendly with all people, even new ones, and get along with all dogs. I pretty much ignore the cat. I do great at the dog park and in stores.

Foster Mom took me and my brother Solomon to the petstore and everyone complimented us on how well behaved, calm, and friendly we were. And, of course, CUTE!

I went for my very first leash walk and did pretty good. I did get scared when some bigger dogs barked at me so my Foster Mom gave me a "free ride" past their house... so I wrapped my little legs around her shoulder to hug her and say thanks!

I am a very sweet little girl and love to sleep on your chest and tummy at naptime. At night I sleep in a crate with my brother Solomon. I do whine if he is not in there with me so please be patient while I find my courage if you adopt me by myself.

I would love to be adopted with my brother Solomon but would learn to do fine by myself. We will give you endless hours of entertainment and love... Please give me or, better yet, me AND my brother an amazing new life.
