My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Choco is a neutered 3 year old Chocolate Lab/Pit Bull Terrier mix. Approximately two years ago he was rescued wandering as a stray by a compassionate family. Sadly he is in need of a new home due to drastic changes in his family situation. A move to a home without a fenced yard, longer work hours and hectic schedules have made Choco depressed with the current situation and in need of a home or family that can devote more time to him.

Choco is up to date on his vaccines as well as heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives. He currently lives with several children and sleeps at the foot of the bed with his 11 yr old (human) brother each night. Choco is completely house broken and crate trained, he is crated during the day while his family is at work and roams the house freely during the night and on weekends. He understands basic commands like sit and stay and is also well trained on a leash. Choco has been raised with another dog as well as a cat and does well with both.

What Choco is looking for in a new home is a loving, responsible environment that can provide a privacy fence of sorts (he can jump chain link) and active people that enjoy canine companionship on walks. Choco has certainly led the life of a pampered pooch thus far and would adore a home that can keep with that tradition.
