Darshan's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Darshan's Story...
Darshan is a very mellow older guy just look for a warm couch to retire on. He's obviously had a hard life and will appreciate each and every ounce of kindness shown him and won't ask for much. He's pretty low activity and a daily walk in the neighborhood will probably suit him just fine. He's good with other dogs and is best suited to an adult-only home. This guy will be a wonderful way to get the companionship of a dog into your life and home without having to spend hours a day working off that puppy energy and he'll be grateful for everything you give.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darshan, a Berkeley German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
