OLIVIA's Story...
Olivia is a delight! She is the perfect mix of playful and sweet, and she loves to play with toys, with other cats, or with you! She also enjoys being held and carried around – and she may try to crawl up your leg to get into your arms if you ignore her request to be picked up! She also has a cuddly side, and when she is finished with her activities, she likes to curl up in a warm lap. She is ready to go to a home where she can receive lots of attention and love.

Born about 8/15/04,
Tested neg/neg for FIV and Feline Leukemia
current on vaccinations and spayed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

OLIVIA, a AUSTIN Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in AUSTIN, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in AUSTIN.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in AUSTIN already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a AUSTIN breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in AUSTIN paves the way for another one to be saved.
