Onyx & Obsidian's Story...
These two lovely kittens are Onyx and Obsidian. They were abandoned in our apartment complex and were in need of lots of love. They are both jet black with gorgeous amber eyes! We can only tell them apart by the colour of their eyes as Obsidian's are darker than Onyx's. Both girls (whom we lovingly refer to as The O Girlz) are highly energetic, playful with our other cats, each other and with us. We do not have dogs so they will need time to adjust if you have them. They are loveable, talkative, enjoy being petted, cuddling with us, our other cats and each other. They will approach me or my son for attention and both of the girls have taken to climbing into my lap while I'm watching TV, reading or just sitting at the computer so they can be loved. The O Girlz are wonderful, loving, intelligent and playful! They deserve a good home with a family that will treat them as the special and wonderful, precious girls that they are!!!
Onyx and Obsidian are spayed and have received vaccines for: Rabies, FeLV, and 4-in-1 combination vaccine. Please e-mail or call after 4pm M-F to see them. They do not need to be adopted together. Please call M-F after 4:30, as I work a full-time job and can not talk about adoptions while in my cubicle. E-mails are checked daily as well. The girls are staying in a foster home until an adopter has been found.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Onyx & Obsidian, a Mesa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
