Hi, hello! I'm Peter and I'm a docile 2 year-old Pit Bull/Boston Terrier mix. I'm a very reserved boy in need of a calm home. I have a really unpleasant scar around my neck because I was chained up all the time and horribly abused. A neighbor told my volunteer friends that my guardian used to hang me from the top of the deck just for the sheer fun of it. The fur I've lost around my neck won't ever grow back. The physical and emotional scars from that will never mend. I've had a very frightening past and now I need a family to make it all OK. I'm quite the calm and mellow young fella who knows how to "sit" and am eager to learn more. I'd do well in a home with kids 10 years-old and up. I enjoy playing around with other doggies and just sniffing out all kinds of smells outside. I passed my temperament screening with flying colors and am ready to start a new life with a family who will take care of me and love me for the sweet boy that I am. I am currently being fostered and my foster mommy thinks I'm so wonderful and thinks I'd make a darling companion to my new guardian. I'm ready to start a happy chapter in my life if you will have me.
