Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This little girl was at the Oconee County pound, along with 6 siblings. Her mama was killed in an accident before the newborn family was old enough to be weaned, so they wound up at Animal Control with their future in grave doubt. Although the Oconee pound tries to move heaven and earth to save every dog they can, they don't have the staff to provide the 24 hour care that motherless newborns need. Fortunately one of our foster homes stepped into the breach, sacrificing much sleep to save these little bundles of joy. At the moment they are so young that their little personalities are just starting to emerge. Their current names reflect the ways their foster parents distinguish them for now - Pink got her name for the tiny spot of pink nail polish they put on the tip of her tail, to distinguish her from her twin sister. She also bears a more than passing resemblance to Rottie. Looks like they are share a dad as well as a mom. Mama was a medium-sized dog who looked like a border collie / lab cross. No promises about little Pinky's size!
