Rascal's Story...
This happy little guy is Rascal. He is an energetic, one year old German Shepherd/Pug mix who weighs about 40 pounds. He is crate trained and house trained and is making great progress with his leash training. Rascal loves to play and would do best in a home with another playful dog and a fence. He is very loving and affectionate and loves to cuddle on the couch. His favorite thing in the whole world is to sleep at the foot of his foster mom’s bed. Rascal is very smart, agile and loves to run so would probably love agility training. He always has a smile on his face and his tail never stops wagging. An active family with or without children would be ideal for this little guy. He is fully vaccinated and is already neutered.

If you are interested in meeting RASCAL, please contact his Amy at 913-709-7948 or a.fontaine@sbcglobal.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rascal, a Overland Park German Shepherd Dog/Pug puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Pug for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Pug puppy from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Pug breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
