Gordy's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

I'm a handsome fluffy guy. Who would guess that I am terribly shy, as big as I am. I'm gentle and friendly but I take my time getting to know you. I am homeless, so maybe my circumstances have made me slow to trust. If the right person has the time to wait for me, I will try my best to come to them. Many other kitties have made it and I know that I can too. If you are a patient person who would like to give me a loving home, I would love to meet you.

About Cats in the Cradle

About Our Rescue Group...

Cats in the Cradle is a no-kill rescue organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of feral, stray and special needs cats and kittens. We are supported by an all volunteer network. While in our care, cats receive nutritious food, medical care and affection until they are placed in permanent homes. CITC is actively involved in spay and neuter initiatives to achieve zero population growth.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our kitties can be seen at the Alpharetta PetSmarts located at Northpoint Mall. CITC has cats residing at this location at all times. We hold regular adoptions for these and our shelter cats and kittens on every Saturday and Sunday at this PetsMart location. Adoptions and kitty introductions are also done during the week by appointment.

Our Adoption Process...

An application must be competed and submitted. Once the information has been reviewed and the application approved, an adoption agreement is signed. A copy of the agreement along with the animal's medical record is given to the adopter.
