Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maggie is Babe's daughter. She is a Border Collie/Lab/Heeler mix. She is 7 yrs. old, spayed and housebroken. Babe & Maggie belonged to an older gentleman who is ill. He asked for our help in re-homing his beloved dogs.
Even though we were going to try to keep them together, they have made great strides in becoming independent of each other. Their foster home feels that they would do well in separate homes. They both love being around people more than anything. Their foster home has worked with them a lot. They have gone to doggy daycare, although they are more interested in people than other dogs. They both do very well walking on a leash, and a long line.
Maggie does not play with other dogs, she tolerates them but keeps her distance. We feel she would do the best as the only dog in the home and where someone is home most of the time.
We would like for them to live out the rest of their lives in a real home and not in a kennel. Maggie is very active and affectionate. No cats. They are currently living in a large outdoor pen. Call Cindy at 970-353-1385.
