Tiger's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Tiger's Story...
Tiger is a small cat for being ~1.5 yrs old. He is fun to watch play, and you know you are special when he lets you pick him up and hold him. He likes (assisting with) housework, gardening, and other chores around the house.
Tiger is neutered, vaccinated, AND microchipped.

I think he may be half abyssinian because of his appearance and this description of the breed:

"Abyssinians regularly perform antics for your amusement, earning them the reputation of being the clowns of the cat kingdom. They will often perch on shoulders, crawl under covers, and sit on laps purring madly before racing off to bat imaginary butterflies and make flying leaps at the tallest bookcases."

Tiger has shown aggression towards submissive cats in the past by playing too hard, but is doing significantly better. If placed into a home with another cat, s/he should be confident and be allowed to warn Tiger he cannot be in charge. Tiger loves being an active part of your life, as well as posing as a pillow on the center of the bed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiger, a Jacksonville Abyssinian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Abyssinian for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Abyssinian cat from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Abyssinian breeders who help with Abyssinian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
