Gabe's Story...
Gabe is a 1 year old pup that was in a pound that sells dogs to research! Poor baby, he certainly didn’t deserve that fate! He has grown up a lot since we first got him and is as sweet as pie! We believe he is German Shepherd and either Husky or Malamute mix. This is a smart boy who will do extremely well with some obedience training. Because he likes to jump on people right now, it's recommended that he not be adopted to a home with small children. Gabe is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and receiving monthly heartworm preventative.

If you are interested in adopting this dog,
please send us an e-mail and request an application form. Vet and personal references will be checked and a home visit is required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabe, a Belleville German Shepherd Dog/Husky puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Husky for sale in Belleville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Husky puppy from a breeder in Belleville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Belleville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Belleville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Husky breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Belleville paves the way for another one to be saved.
