My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Diamond is the best girl! She is around 18 months old and weighs in at 46 lbs, and is so darn cute with her curled up little tail. Diamond is great with all other dogs and never meets a stranger. She is a very friendly, outgoing, silly, and fun pup that is going to make the most amazing family companion!

UPDATE: We noticed that Diamond had a gimpy little limp in her back end and took her to the vet for xrays to make sure all was well. All is not well, but all is not bad either. She has hip dyspasia....as the vet said "She's loose in that hip". If she was painful, we would have TPO surgery, but she's not painful so we've decided to just leave it alone. Will she ever be painful and require surgery? We hope not but just as with any medical condition, you just can't predict what time will bring. She's a nice little size so she's never going to be carrying around a large amount of weight that would hinder her mobility. As she ages, she might need some arthritis meds but that's to be expected of almost any dog as they get older. (just like humans.....aging is tough on our bodies) Even though Diamond has a little bit of a limp, we are still confident that her forever family is out there just waiting to love her and provide the best life for her!

This pup is in CT and waiting to find their forever home!! If you are interested in adopting this pup, please email your adoption coordinator to set up a meet. You can also apply online on our website, but you must be pre-approved before setting up an appointment to adopt.

The adoption fee is $450 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested negative for heartworms.

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 12pm - 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
