MoJo is a beautiful 1 year-old neutered male yellow Labrador whose pictures do not do him justice. He’s not a tall boy, but he is a heavy weight and he’s solid as a rock. Mojo is very active and loves to play fetch. He’s very loving and sweet with everyone he meets. He loves other dogs and is ok with the cats he met at the shelter. Mojo is crate trained and working on housebreaking, basic obedience and manners. UPDATE: Mojo is currently in 3 months of professional obedience training in Austin. He will be available for adoption in May when he's graduated.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MOJO, a League City Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in League City, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in League City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in League City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a League City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in League City paves the way for another one to be saved.
