Alex's Info...

I am housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Alex's Story...
Alex is a very beautiful pup he is a german shepherd and collie mix, and about 3.5 months old. Alex is the most loving puppy there is, he does well with other dogs and pups and is only curious about cats. Alex is in general a curious pup, very intelligent, calm, not a barker or biter. Alex is great with kids of all ages, and is extremely gentle with them. He loves to run and play, loves chew toys and is full of fun. Alex is housetrained, crate trained, and up to date with all his shots. When full grown he will be a large dog, one with an even disposition, a good alert pet, one that will cherish his family. Because of Alex's size he will need room to run, and a family who would exercise him. Alex came from a high kill shelter and is so glad to be alive, he is waiting for that special family to come and adopt him into his forever home. Alex is currently being fostered in Vermont, you can call his foster mom at 802-461-4427 OR call Amy Kennedy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alex, a New Boston German Shepherd Dog/Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Collie for sale in New Boston, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Collie puppy from a breeder in New Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Collie breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
