Moby's Story...
Comments from the kennel staff: "Moby is a stunning hound, with gorgeous eyes and fawn ticking throughout his white coat. He is one of those dogs that seems as if he's never had a bad day in his life-always happy! He's also very accomodating, attentive, interactive, and loving. His photo depicts his personality very nicely. He gets along very well with the other greys here at the kennel, too. We'll have more on him once he's been placed in foster care."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moby, a St Petersburg Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in St Petersburg, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in St Petersburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St Petersburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St Petersburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St Petersburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
