Margot's Story...
My name is Margot and I’m one of the shelter’s sweethearts! I am so friendly, thoughtful, and polite – once you meet me, you won’t be able to resist me. I’m a mellow girl who will happily stroll beside you, sniffing this or that along the way. I’m strong, pretty and enjoy exploring. I’m also smart and want to learn about everything! With the right handler, I know that I could be a very well-trained companion. I would like to join an active household because even though I’m calm and mellow, I’d still like to jog and do outdoor activities! I get along well with both doggies and kitties and especially people! I love being close to you and won’t turn down a pat on the back, a hug, a belly rub, or a kind “good girl, Margot”. I know what you’re thinking, “She’s too good to be true!” – I’m real, I promise! Come down to BACS and meet me; I think you’ll love what you see!

Act quickly to adopt Margot. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Margot, a Berkeley Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
