Casper's Story...
Do you remember a cartoon about a little white ghost, “the friendliest ghost you know”? That little character’s name was Casper. My white coat and outgoing personality must have reminded someone of that friendly little guy because my name, too, is Casper! And I am certainly one of the friendliest cats you will meet. But my uniqueness doesn’t stop there. I actually have two different-colored eyes. One is blue and the other is golden. I’m very sweet, very snuggly, and very adorable. I especially love people—much like that little cartoon Casper! I’m friendly to everyone I meet – children and adults alike. A handsome boy like me deserves a home of my own. You needn’t worry that your house is haunted with this Casper! No, your house will be filled with joy and lots of life with a sweet and playful boy like me in residence.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casper, a Aldie Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
