Peggy's Info...

I am already spayed and up to date with shots.

Peggy's Story...
We have a litter of six 11-week-old lab/shepherd mix puppies; some more lab-y and others definitely very shepherd-y. Peggy is a gorgeous purebred black lab look-alike. She's completely black except for a whisper of white on her throat, and her coat is short, but has a softer texture than a typical lab's fur. She is about 20 lbs. now and we expect that she'll be medium-sized as an adult. She has been spayed, vaccinated (appropriate to her age) and de-wormed, and she just can't wait to find a home of her own. Suggested donation: $200

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peggy, a Naugatuck Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Naugatuck, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Naugatuck.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naugatuck already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naugatuck breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naugatuck paves the way for another one to be saved.
