My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Ruby....the grey in her face may be showing but this girl still has plenty of pep in her step and LOTS of love in her heart! Senior dogs have a special place on this earth, and that's why when we were asked by a partner shelter if we could help Ruby, we didn't hesitate to say ABSOLUTELY!! We can't wait to see her all settled in her new home and living the good life.

Ruby is the absolute best and easiest dog ever. She's house trained so no crate is needed! She gets along with people of all sizes & does well with other dogs. She walks perfect on a leash. Seriously though this girl wants nothing more then a comfy place of her own to lay!!

If you aren't ready to adopt, please share Ruby's post and help us help her find her spot in this world!

This pup is in CT and waiting to find their forever home!! If you are interested in adopting this pup, please email your adoption coordinator to set up a meet. You can also apply online on our website, but you must be pre-approved before setting up an appointment to adopt.

The adoption fee is $450 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested positive for heartworms and was treated prior to adoption.

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 12pm-2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
