My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scarlett is a well mannered, exceptionally sweet, 100% Very Good Girl. She is a four yr old, 50 pound boxer mix and she is crate trained, walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, potty trained, and gets along with the dogs and cats in her foster home. Scarlett is a little shy meeting new people but she warms right up. She is moderate energy so she is happy to play and explore outside, gets the occasional case of the zoomies, but is cool as a cucumber and well behaved indoors. She looks to have had numerous litters of puppies and we are glad she came to rescue so she can leave all that behind and be valued and treated in the way she deserves. Scarlett is a really lovely guest in her foster home and she will make a much loved, irreplaceable new family member for whoever is lucky enough to adopt her. More pictures to come!

This pup is in CT and waiting to find their forever home!! If you are interested in adopting this pup, please email your adoption coordinator to set up a meet. You can also apply online on our website, but you must be pre-approved before setting up an appointment to adopt.

The adoption fee is $450 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested positive for heartworms and has been treated while in our care.

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 12pm-2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
