Angelica's Story...
Angelica is a sweet 6 year old girl who has spent all of her years outside in the Phoenix weather. She is learning to become a house dog and loving it. After seeing the other dogs get on the couch she has finally decided to give that a try!! Angelica is working on her house training and doing better every day. Please remember she may have a few accidents when being brought into a new home. Riding in a car still scares her a bit she is doing well. Angelica is a quiet girl. Very timid at first. She is looking for a quiet forever home where she can be loved and adored.! Someone who is home all day would be wonderful! Now that the weather is cooling a bit at night I’m sure she would enjoy going for walks! Angelica would love to find a home before her birthday which is Oct. 31... A Halloween girl! The black and white hairs sprinkled around her eyes give her an "old dog" look. What a Halloween costume!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angelica, a Phoenix Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
