Marlo's Story...
Marlo is a charmer about 7 months old. He was rescued from a home that housed 100 cats The story was featured on the local news on 9/2/09.

His fur was soiled with feces and urine and had an awful odor.

He cleaned up beautifully and is now neutered, UTD on vaccines, FELV tested, and treated for fleas.

Marlo was a bit nervous at first and unsure of his new environment. He warmed up quickly and is a big rollie pollie. He loves belly rubs and being brushed. He will roll all over the place while you are brushing him and enjoys all the attention.

He gets along great with other cats and is a sweetheart.

If you would like to meet Marlo, he will be at the Natomas Marketplace Petsmart on the weekends from 11am – 5pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marlo, a Sacramento Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
