Jonathan's Story...
Here we have a cute boy who is a great Dane Labrador retriever mix. He is about 4 1/2 months old and is a sweet as they come.

This boy came to us from one of our best shelters. they try to help every dog in their care and we try and take as many to place in fabulous AdoptALab.org adoptive homes as we can. This boy has been so fun!

He is great with the other puppies at his foster home and plays so sweetly with his playgroup.

Jonathon is neutered, up to date on vaccines (which means 3 puppy shots) and is on heartworm prevention.

This boy is approved for homes with children as he has been fostered with a wonderful family with two kids. he is very gentle and sweet with the children.

If you would like to adopt Jonathon, please submit an
adoption application from our website, and see our other great Labs who are looking for their forever homes, happy tails, and more!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jonathan, a Boston Labrador Retriever/Great Dane puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane for sale in Boston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane puppy from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Great Dane breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
