Rose's Story...
Both Rose and Hobbs have a thing for those little fake mice that look real. They get a real kick out of them and played with them in their former home. Someday soon, they could play for real with fake mice in a new home where allergies are not a problem and dogs are absent from the scene. Rose is a soft gray and white beauty. She’s a little shyer than Hobbs, but ultimately sweet and totally affectionate. Rosewill check out all the corners, high places, and hidey holes in her new place, and then she’ll approach in her quiet, shy way. Hobbs is a handsome fella; a playful, friendly guy who is pretty quiet and loves to be patted. Although he may be hesitant to come when called at first, he will roll over on his back in delight when approached in a gentle manner. He also likes to talk and rub and circle his humans. These kitties are lovely cats that deserve a home together. Come by and meet these forever buddies, and bring along some fake mice and a soft touch when you do. Rose and Hobbs are waiting to meet you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rose, a Westbrook Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Westbrook, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Westbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
