Spike's Info...

I am a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, not good with kids, and not good with small animals.

Spike's Story...
Hello, I'm Spike. I'm a very tough little piggie, and I need people that understand me. I really like to eat, and play in my hay. I'm not a "cuddley" Guinea pig. I'd do great with an adult male that understands my needs. My people think I'm a big softie at heart, but I don't like other guinea's at all. Do you think you could take me home and give me what I need?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spike, a Palm Bay Guinea Pig was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Guinea Pig for sale in Palm Bay, or seeking a Guinea Pig from a breeder in Palm Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palm Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palm Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Guinea Pig breeders who help with Guinea Pig rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palm Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
