Raisin's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Raisin's Story...
This little man has no idea how he ended up in the shelter, he is handling it like a champ though. A bit of an upper respiratory infection caught there but all in all he is staying strong and wants a home of his own. We are not clear on his actual breed, someone has had his tail docked which leads us to believe that he is a designer breed. If you can correctly breed id him please contact us! Basenji is the closest we can find!
He is sweet a bit timid but gets along well with other dogs and doesn't meet a stranger. Super little fellow weighing in about 20lbs full grown. He is about 1-2 years old. Apply now to adopt Raisin at www.carolinacockers.com
NOTE: We will continue to accept applications on every dog until one application is approved, contract signed and faxed and full donation is made via our website. This is only to ensure that all our dogs have fantastic homes secured.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Raisin, a Mahwah Basenji dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basenji for sale in Mahwah, or seeking a Basenji dog from a breeder in Mahwah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mahwah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mahwah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basenji breeders who help with Basenji rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mahwah paves the way for another one to be saved.
