I am housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Taylor is a 2yr old lab mix. She weighs only about 45lbs. Taylor is a young, sweet dog who has been the greatest mom to a recent litter of 7 puppies. Taylor is just now learning to play with other dogs. Although we don't know her history, it appears that she never learned or had the opportunity to interact or socialize much with other dogs. She is now thoroughly enjoying chase and tug of war with her two big foster brothers. She also gets along quite well with her foster brother the cat.
Taylor is extremely loyal and becomes quickly attached to anyone who shows her the slightest bit of attention. When her foster mother is gone, she sits at the window and will lick it for hours. The same thing applies when a door seperates her from you. She appears to have some seperation anxiety but has never chewed or destroyed anything other than her dog toys. She is quite comfortable and relaxed in her crate although she has been allowed to sleep on the bed at night and keeps one ear cocked for any sound her babies might make.
She is a jumper. She clears the child gates and 5' back fence with no problem. She doesn't run away and only jumps when these things are a barrier between her and the ones she loves. She never jumps on people or small children and is in fact quite gentle with them. She seems to be highly attracted to young men and you know immediately if she is crazy about you. Our wish for Taylor is that she find the special home she needs. Although she has a few issues, we are very confident that once she has the security of a forever home she will settle in quite well. She has been shuffled from place to place and has lost the people and puppies that she has loved. Her foster family thinks she is one terrific dog who has not yet reached her full potential and they believe she deserves a family of her own to love and care for her and someone who has the patience to give her the time she needs to adjust. She definitely needs a forever, happily ever after chapter in her life.
She is current on vaccines and microchipped and will be spayed after 3 months of weaning the babies by Hope 4 PAws. Contact Molly at firstname.lastname@example.org to meet Taylor! Adoption fee of $250 to cover her vetting.
