My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Taylor is a short hair female guinea pig. She is a brown agouti. She is around 1 year old.

Taylor came from the local humane society along with her friend Olivia. Later after the girls came here to the rescue we had to separate Olivia from Taylor because she wouldn't stop fighting with her. Taylor is a very submissive pig and was always being pushed around by Olivia, so she now lives with all of the rest of the girls here at the rescue in the huge cage. She likes the other girls and is excited about making new friends. Taylor is a very good girl, just like Olivia they are both great lap pigs which is always a good thing. Taylor likes to hang out at the hayloft and wait for hay to drop to the floor of the cage, she doesn't believe in stretching to reach strands of hay. She does enjoy floor time though, she likes to enjoy the different things around the playpen like the bent grids and the huge pile of hay as well as the little brown paper bags filled with hay. She would love to get adopted with another single female, or join an already established herd of girls.

Taylor loves all of the other girl piggies and likes to hang out in the cuddle cups with them. She even thinks sharing her cuddle sak is alright. She shares veggies in the morning, the other girls come over and steal her food but she just walks back over the pile of veggies and takes another piece. She's very submissive so would love a laid back neutered male or to join a herd of girls that are more laid back. She likes lap time, so cuddling her would be her dream come true. She can't wait to find her forever home.

Our rescue uses and requires the use of C & C Cages (Cubes & Coroplast) There is an adoption fee of $25 per pig, $50 for a pair. If you are interested in adopting a single or pair of piggies please read over the requirements and fill out an Application
