Ebony's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ebony's Story...
I’m a young (8-9 month old) long-hair black kitty. I wandered up to Keith’s house and… well… just kind of hung around because Keith’s been feeding me and caring for me. I’m so super-sweet… and although Pet Savers is full of black cats… they made an exception for me because of my exceptional temperament. BUT, Keith will have to get me spayed first. I’m UTD on shots… and once I’m spayed, I’m scheduled to come to Pet Savers on November 24th, 2009. In the meantime, if you’d like to meet me, please call Keith at 318-510-2340.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ebony, a Haughton Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Haughton, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Haughton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haughton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haughton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haughton paves the way for another one to be saved.
