Spooky's Story...
Hi. My name is Spooky. I was found outside with 5 of my other siblings on 10/1. We were living in a drain pipe with our mommy. We were so scared, hungry, and cold! We’re only about 6 weeks old right now, so we’re just tiny. We used to be a litter of 7 kittens, but one of us didn’t make it.

I’m the long-haired female kitten in the litter with some white under my chin. My mom named me Spooky because my eyes are always open so big, and she thinks I always look like I’m spooked. I have a very sweet personality and just need to know who you are before I’m comfortable; otherwise, I get a little bit scared. Hey, I’ve been living outside since I was born where we had to be scared of everything. Can you blame me?

All of us will be ready for adoption in November, but you can go ahead and fill out an application on us so you can come and see how cute we really are. All of us would like to be adopted in pairs. You can fill out an application at Our adoption fees will include us being fixed, being up to date on shots, being microchipped, and being combo tested. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spooky, a Cincinnati Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
