Maddie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Maddie's Story...
Maddie came to us from the East Valley Animal shelter where she had been abandoned pregnant and emaciated. As you can see she is a beautiful, healthy girl now. She was listed as a chihuahua, but at 15+ pounds quitel possibly the largest chihuahua we've ever seen. They put her at about 6 years, but we felt she was somewhere around 5. She loves to play and romp and enjoys running in the yard with her doggie friends. We are still working on her leash training but other than that Maddie is very well behaved and the perfect house mate. If you are looking for a girl that worships the ground you walk on she is the one for you! Maddie's new home should not have cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maddie, a Sylmar Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Sylmar, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Sylmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sylmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sylmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sylmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
