My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

There is something very special about this dog. We had another foster, a male, when we picked up Remus. He was a very timid, scared little guy (understandable since he had been dumped in a creek in Ohio and luckily found by a good samaritan who took him to a shelter). But we found him pleasant.

Now that the other foster has been adopted and Remus is the only male here his personality has exploded! He is playing and running around like a puppy. You can tell he was restrained for a long time because he has this uneven gate that makes you laugh and play more with him. He will sit and shake paw on command, but you must get his attention first. He likes to talk and is always ready to accept some belly rubbing.

Remus is an old soul in a 6 year old's body. You can see his past deep in his eyes and his one wish for his own forever home. He eats like a horse and likes to watch you eat too (you never can tell if something will fall off the table!).

So to sum up Remus, he's a doll! He's being fostered in Emmaus, PA and his asking adoption fee is $225.

NOTE: Due to the volatile price of gas, getting multiple volunteers to help with long distance transporting is no longer feasible. We have listed the town and state where each dog is being fostered. Please consider how far you are willing to travel when filling out the application. The foster home will usually volunteer to help with transport for a reasonable distance.
