Jerry-Pending's Story...
CEREBELLAR CATS rock . . . and roll. They also stumble . . . and tumble. The sad fact is many shelters needlessly euthanize cats with Cerebellar Hypoplasia. What some people don’t realize is that most cerebellar cats are adoptable and are sweet, personable, happy-go-lucky kitties who have absolutely no pride. Falling down and walking clumsily are normal for them. They never get embarrassed; in fact, they seem to enjoy entertaining you with their awkward gait and antics. No matter how bad your day is, when you come home and see your cerebellar kitty, you’ll instantly smile. Despite their handicap, these special cats have a “can-do” attitude and love to amuse and delight you. GEORGE and JERRY are delightfully amusing and are ready for their own home. THEY MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER. All vet work is completed and they are FeLV/FIV negative. These brothers’ estimated date of birth is 4/16/2009.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jerry-Pending, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
