Oscar's Story...
Oscar, our hairless Chinese Crested mix, is a very sweet boy who loves to put his head on your lap for petting and scratching. He loves to curl up on his side of the couch, just happy that you are nearby. Outside, he is an energetic, alert little guy who loves to run and check out his surroundings. He's a little shy at first and may shake a bit, but he bonds very quickly. Now his foster mom gets kisses and happy tail wags every time he sees her.

Oscar is well-behaved (he'll never steal your food!), but doesn't seem to have had any formal obedience training. We are working on "wait", "sit" and "come" and he's doing pretty well. He is housebroken, and we are working on paper training. Occasionally he gets very frightened and needs a strong, gentle alpha to calm him down.

Because he is hairless on most of his body, a characteristic of the Chinese Crested, he needs moisturizer applied to his body daily. He also must be bundled up for protection against cold, wind and even sun. Only the most responsible, loving, experienced adult home will work for this little one. If that's you, please send in your application right away! Oscar is waiting.
