Mugsy's Story...
Mugsy is a 2 year old pure bred Bull Terrier - he is on the smaller side, weighing about 44 pounds. His owner was going to turn him into the shelter when one of our volunteers was made aware of the situation. Mugsy is very sweet and wants to be affectionate, but needs to be introduced to a lot of new things as he did not get out much in his previous home. He needs lots of love, patience and understanding to make him feel comfortable in his new home, as he has been abused by someone as well. Mugsy gets along great with dogs of all sizes and is very gentle with even the most obnoxious of puppies. He is totally housetrained and not destructive in the least. He will bring so much love and joy to your home... If you are interested, please email us at pal@palrescue.org and put the dog's name in the subject line.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mugsy, a El Segundo Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier for sale in El Segundo, or seeking a Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in El Segundo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Segundo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Segundo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier breeders who help with Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Segundo paves the way for another one to be saved.
