Tessa's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Tessa's Story...
Tessa is back from training. she now has great recall, stays in the yard and close by, does not chase the horses, does like to chase cats though. Loves to play ball and even brings it back, is great in the house. She does have high play drive, so a home with another tough male that likes to play would be best. Tessa absolutely loves the water and goes into it even in the winter. She is not very protective, her foster parents were amazed at how fast she learned after only a couple of lessons. She is one very smart dog Tessa is. She is great with kids and should go to a high energy home. Please email info@montanagsdrescue.org to fill out an application to adopt this dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tessa, a Hamilton German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
