Sophie's Story...
Hello, I’m Sophie. I’m a terrier mix that’s in need of a loving home. I’ve seen my share of tragedy in my lifetime and I need and deserve and will take nothing less than the perfect loving forever home. I was found with my family of two other dogs, and when I was found, I was at the side of the road by one of one of my family that had been hit by a car and was dead. I didn’t want to leave him, but the kind people that found me took me to safety. I haven’t had the best life, so as a result, I get a little scared of new things and people, but once you give me a chance to relax, I do and I will be your best friend forever. I HAVE to go to a home with my best friend Reba. She helped me through some rough times and I really need her. I am housetrained and I love being able to go outside and play, If you think you have the ideal family waiting for me and my pal Reba, then please contact FFAS today and let’s start our forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Hendersonville Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Hendersonville, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Hendersonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hendersonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hendersonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hendersonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
