Leaf's Story...
Extremely sweet kitty is looking for a quiet home

Leaf is the kind of sad case we see all too often at Whiskers. Leaf had a happy home for 9+ years until her person passed away without having made any plans for her. Whiskers agreed to take her in since she had no other options other than being euthanized.

Leaf was very scared and shy when she first came into the shelter. She has blossomed slowly but now loves affection and purrs very readily. Leaf is still shy and reserved but we clearly see why she will make someone a fantastic companion if given a little time to adjust. Do you have space in your heart and home for this sweetheart?

All of Whisker's cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, age appropriately vaccinated and tested for FELV/FIV prior to adoption.

About Whiskers Animal Benevolent League

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission is to provide abandoned, abused, and stray animals with a place of comfort, safety, and health and ultimately find them loving, responsible, permanent homes. We specialize in helping animals that have no advocate, those that have been abandoned on the streets or who have been abused. Secondly, we seek to reduce the population of unwanted companion animals by arranging for their spay/neutering prior to their adoption or through our Spay/Neuter & Release program. Finally, we seek to provide information to the public on how to better provide for and enjoy their companion animals.

To help fulfill our mission, Whiskers operates a shelter and maintains foster homes for housing lost, homeless, abandoned, injured or sick animals. We conduct fund-raising activities, solicit public contributions, and sell donated items to raise money to pay for the veterinary bills to alter, vaccinate, and restore health to these companion animals.
