Drew's Story...
Drew is one of the most handsome, loving, affectionate and friendly dogs you’re likely to meet. This cuddly guy is nothing but love in a furry package. The shelter life is hard for Drew, who was used to the love of a caring family before arriving at BACS. He wishes to find a home and a person or family to call his own. He is so grateful when you enter his kennel with collar and leash, that he devours you with kisses – thanking you for choosing him above all the other dogs. Once he steps outside into the fresh air and sunshine, his spirits lift and he is so happy to be your side. He only has eyes for you while you take a walk through the park, occasionally stopping at a park bench to sit and cuddle. Drew is a calm and mellow boy, that not only loves people, but enjoys the company of other dogs as well. Come meet our darling Drew and be the answer to his prayers!

Act quickly to adopt Drew. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Drew, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
