FOXY's Story...
Foxy is a one year old Aussie/Border Collie mix. What we call a "bossie". She is a sable & white, with a silky semi rough coat. Foxy has the most adorable face and markings, hence her name.

Foxy gets along with all the fosters and runs low to mid range in her group. She is very affectionate and ready to bond to her new family. She has just finished her quarantine, so stay tuned for updates on this pretty one as we get to know her better.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

FOXY, a San Pedro Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
